“Can we say Yes to God?”

 

During this Christmas season we reflect on Mary, the mother of Jesus.  When the angel appeared to her with a task, she was ready to accept.  This took courage and an unselfish love for Jesus.  Do we love the Lord?  Like Mary, as Christians, we do not know what role Jesus may want us and ask us to play.  Are we seeking God daily so that we can be ready to be used by God?  Do we need to ask God for more strength so that we can say “Yes” to God under challenging circumstances?
